This week I had the absolute pleasure of visiting apt. 202, a local ladies’ clothing boutique in the 9th & 9th neighborhood of Salt Lake City. Having visited Paris last spring, I felt like I was transported back to the streets of the Latin Quartier – rich with color, amazingly soft textures and understated glamour. Their pieces are girly without being frilly, sophisticated without being stale. And the scarves…oh their scarves – they are to-die-for. They also rock an excellent selection of candles, jewelry and accessories. Here are a few of my favorite shots.
The racks at apt. 202 are laid out beautifully – the colors are coordinated without being too monochromatic, and the vintage decor is the icing on the cake…unless you’re into dogs (and who isn’t?!). In that case, this personal shopper (ahem, the owner’s dog) will make your visit to apt. 202 complete.
Grab a couple of their scrumptiously soft and colorful scarves, your favorite scented candle and a good book, and you’re all set for an amazing evening at home with a glass of wine on the back porch.

This looks like it would be a winner in Austin. We are all about shopping local, and eclectic and diverse is our middle name. Consider branching out!
