A little about me…

My name is Lauren Dahl, and as a real-estate agent, I meet new people and discover new places in Salt Lake City every day. I found myself haphazardly posting images I found interesting on Facebook or Twitter – but not really having a central location where I could share my daily experiences in the city. Then it occurred to me: I could create a site like saltlakedenizen not only to display my photos and thoughts, but also to bring other people who love Salt Lake City together. My goal with every photo is to inspire my audience to live a more creative, locally oriented and fulfilling life…and in the process, maybe drive a few more customers to the featured local businesses.

I live in Salt Lake City with my wonderful husband, Scott, my adorable daughter, Harper, and two cats (Wonton and Chopstick) in the Liberty-Wells neighborhood of Salt Lake City. Other than blogging, taking care of the little one and working in real estate, I like to travel, snowboard, boulder/sport climb, work on my seemingly endless quest to learn French, knit, sew, ride my hot pink, 1979 Schwinn Suburban and pretend to be a photographer. I succeed at one or two of these things at any given time.
